new start church home page, newstart is a new church that has been started in stockbridge, georgia. stockbridge is located in henry county, which is the fourth fastest growing county in the country. newstart is associated with the church of the nazarene, which has over 10,000 churches world-wide. our vision is to reach unchurced people with the truth of the gospel by using non-traditonal means. we are a contemporary church that preaches a very old message. newstart is pastored by mark atherton. he is a graduate of the university of kentucky and asbury theological seminary. we meet in starlite skating center in stockbride, sundays at 10:30am.
